Occupying the landmark Barney’s New York building, the temporary revival of its iconic café Freds will bring fresh energy to the beloved location. The exhibition celebrates the legacy of Louis Vuitton’s iconic signature trunk.
The LOUIS 200 project invited a mosaic of talents and friends spanning arts and culture, the sciences, sports, global causes and more to personalize a metaphorical blank canvas measuring approximately the same dimensions of the original trunk that Louis conceived in the 1850s.
Brands and figures like Supreme, Gloria Steinem, BTS, Pat McGrath, Nigo, and Fornasetti customized pieces that have been featured in the exhibit. This is the show’s grand finale, opening October 14 and running through December 31.
